Description
A very scarce and decorative C19th Derby (Robert Bloor period) porcelain group of a young couple dancing, on a mound base with moulded scrolling and applied flowers.
Mock ‘Meissen’ type crossed swords mark in underglaze blue.
Date: circa 1840
Height: 6⅛” (15.5cm)
Condition: Overall condition is very good, there is minor restoration to part of the girl’s sleeve, part of her shoe & the end of man’s sword, minor losses to lacework.
