Unusual Bow Figure of Winter.


A scarce 18th century Bow porcelain large figure of a man warming his hands over a brazier, he is wearing a long pale yellow coat with ‘sealing wax blue’ cuffs and a waistoat painted with pink roses,  standing on a rococo style base, raised on four scroll moulded feet.

Circa: 1760-65
Height: 9½” (24cm)
Condition: A little restoration to:  a few of his fingers, chips on the brim of his hat, the brazier has been reattached and there is a piece of firewood missing from the base.
