An unusual early 19th century Staffordshire pottery figure of a boy holding a stick, a dog standing at his side.
Possibly a shepherd although he has the look of being an animal trainer or street performer.
Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours.
Circa : 1825-30
Height : 6″ (15cm)
Condition : Restoration to wrist and part of bocage.
