Staffordshire Pottery Large Group of ‘Shepherds’

Description

Early 19th century Staffordshire pottery large square based group of shepherd & shepherdess on a rocky mound, set on a square plinth with title ‘SHEPHERDS’  painted in black enamel.
Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours.
Circa : 1810-20
Height : 11″ (28cm)
Condition : Bocage missing, stump rounded over. Minor restoration to chips on hat, ears etc.
