A very unusual and quite impressive early Victorian Staffordshire figure group depicting St George the Dragon Slayer, on a stepped rectangular, underglaze blue base.
Attributed to J & R Lloyd of Shelton.

Condition: Some professional restoration to breaks.
Everything is original except the tip of the dragon’s tail and the feather on George’s helmet (reins are ribbons & he would have been holding a detachable sword/lance)
