Rare Bloor Derby Figure of a Soldier.


A very scarce 19th century Derby figure of a seated soldier with a wooden leg, set on a circular base with scroll moulding picked out in gilt.
Blue ‘crossed swords’ mark to underside of base.

Height : 6¼” (16cm)
Condition : Restoration to neck & two chips on hat. There is a small chip on the side of the draped blue fabric where something has touched or is missing…
Typical glaze crazing and light staining.
