Description
A good pair of mid 18th century Staffordshire saltglazed stoneware oval, two handled, lattice work baskets with stands.
Circa: 1750 – 1760
Condition: Good. One basket has just a short crack from the rim with an associated chip. The other has had a section of the side re-glued (it hardly shows at all), some minor breaks and some original firing cracks. There is no hidden restoration, no overpainting at all.
Both stands are in good condition.
