A fine and decorative pair of Derby porcelain (Robert Bloor period) figures of Shepherd & Shepherdess, standing on scroll moulded mound bases.
Known as ‘ The Dresden Shepherds’, inspired by Meissen figures of the 18th century.
‘Crossed swords’ ⚔️ marks, painted in blue enamel.

Date: c 1830-40
Height : 7½” (19cm)
Condition : Over all condition is pretty good, there is some good quality restoration to: a break on each outstretched arm (her left, hid right), some fingers on his right hand, flower in her hand and chip on hat, lamb’s left ear.
