A very imposing pair of 18th century Derby porcelain candlestick figures, depicting the ‘Italian Farmers’, he holding a cockerel and she with a colourful pheasant, standing on rococo scroll moulded bases with elaborate bocage and candle sconces.
‘patch marks’ and typical stress cracks to underside of bases.

Height : 12½” (31.7cm)
Condition: Overall condition is very good, the end of his stick and her left hand have some old restoration. There are typical chips & losses to some of the foliage and some stress cracks to the sconces.
* the female figure is missing a ‘scroll’ from the side of the base, this was clearly missing during manufacture and is fully glazed over.
