Pair of Coalport Bough Pots & Lids.

Description

A very decorative pair of early Coalport porcelain semi-circular bough pots with pierced covers and copper liners, standing on three ball feet.
Decorated with painted with Neo-classical style panels painted in puce monochrome against a pale background, with elaborately gilded columns and Greek key & leaf bands.

Height : 6¾” (17cm)
Width : 8¾” (22cm)
Depth :4¼” (11cm)
Condition: One has a faint hairline in one corner & one of the feet has been re-attached with a metal pin. The other pot has ‘star’ glaze cracks with slight staining. One lid has a tiny crack. (see photos)
