Description
A good quality pair of 18th century Derby porcelain figures of the ‘Dresden Shepherds’ a girl holding flowers in her apron, a lamb lying at her feet and a boy holding a basket of fruit, with a dog sitting at his feet, standing on raised bases with rococo style moulding.
Traces of ‘patch marks’ to underside of bases.
Circa 1765-70
Height : 9⅜” (23.8cm)
Condition : Male: restoration to right arm break, left thumb, feather and small chips. Female: restoration to chips on front of base and little finger.
