Large Pair of Derby Musician Figures.


An unusually large pair of 18th century Derby porcelain figures of seated musicians, he playing a bagpipes with a dog sitting at his side, she playing a lute with a sheep beside her.
‘Patch marks’ to both bases.
Circa : 1765-70
Height : 11¾” (30cm)
Condition : Overall condition is very good, some losses to bocage have been rounded over, restoration to part of lute & sheep’s ears. Stress cracks to the girl’s face.
