Kangxi Period Teapot with ‘silver’ replacement Spout.


An attractive early 18th century Chinese export porcelain small teapot & cover, painted with typical lakeside scenes in underglaze blue.
Fitted with an 18th century ‘silver’ replacement spout of elaborate ‘pectin shell’ style and a ‘silver’ & hardwood (lignum vitae?) knop.
Kangxi period (1662-1722). Not hallmarked.
Circa: 1700 – 1710

Height: 12.00cm (4.72 inches)
Condition: Hairline to base of handle.
Typical tiny chips/fritting.  No modern restoration.
