A very unusual 19th century English porcelain toy/miniature tea service, decorated in the ‘English Imari’ style.
Consisting of: Teapot & cover, Sucrier & cover, waste bowl, 2 plates, 5 tea cups & saucers.
Probably Staffordshire, circa 1835.
Height of Teapot : 2¾” (7cm)
Diameter of saucers: 2½” (6.5cm)
Condition : There is restoration to the tip of the teapot spout and a large chip on the base, the waste bowl has a big crack, all the other pieces are in good condition with NO restoration, just a little wear from handling.

* The pattern is well known on miniatures of this type and cups and saucers are relatively common but this is the first time I have ever seen any other shaped pieces such as the teapot and sucrier!
