English Porcelain Stag Inkwell.

Description

A good quality and unusual 19th century English porcelain small cornucopia, supported by a finely modelled Stag’s head with antlers. A metal insert has converted it to an inkwell/pen or flower holder. Attributed to Samuel Alcock.
Circa : 1840
Height : 4⅛” (10.5cm)
Condition : Fine stress cracks antlers and to rim around the brass insert, slight wear to gilding. No damage or restoration.
