English Porcelain Jug, Cirencester Park.


A good quality 19th century English porcelain jug, decorated in puce with a bat printed view of Cirencester Park, titled ‘The West View of Earl Bathurst’s House at CIRENCESTER’,  the reverse with a scene of a farmer ploughing a field, inscribed : ‘He that by the plough would thrive, Himself must either hold or drive’
Circa: 1835
Height: 7″ (18cm)
Condition: Very good. No damage or restoration at all. Just minor wear from use.
