English Lustreware Jug, Marked ‘SEWELL’


A good quality early 19th century English pearlware jug, with relief moulded decoration, a panel depicting a ‘Bachanalian Romp’ with a border of grapes & vine leaves, the base with a band of vertical fluting. The moulding picked out in enamel colours & ‘pink’ lustre.
Impressed mark ‘SEWELL’.

Condition : Excellent, no damage or restoration at all.
