Early Staffordshire Figure of Winter.


18th century Staffordshire pottery figure of a boy, probably representing Winter although this figure has been recorded with the titles ‘Clown’ & ‘Sloth’ and is also very similar to figures of a chimney sweep.
Decorated with coloured ‘running glazes’.
Circa: 1790.
Height: 17.00cm (6.69 inches)
Condition: Excellent original condition. Tiny glaze chip at side of base.
No restoration at all.
