Early Prattware Sheep & Lamb Spill Vase.


Early Staffordshire pottery spill vase group of a small flock of sheep & lambs, on a mound base beneath an open, three branch tree spill holder.
Decorated with high temperature ‘Pratt’ type colours.
Date: c 1790-1800
Height : 6″ (15.5cm)
Length: 5¾” (14.5cm)
Condition : 5 ears either chipped or missing, ships & losses to small areas of foliage, a few small glaze chips, stress crack to underside of base, at the back edge, started from an original firing fault. No restoration at all.
