Early 18th century Chinese export porcelain ovoid teapot, decorated with flowering prunus branches painted in ‘Imari’ colours, unusually using white enamel for the petals.
(with a ‘matched’ lid of similar colouring but different pattern.)
Date: circa 1720-30
Height : 6″ (15cm)
Condition : Metal strainer fitted at base of spout, pinned through body. Tiny chips to spout. Lid has multiple chips to rim. No restoration.
