18th century Chinese Export porcelain hot water jug and cover, decorated with ‘mandarin’ style figures and scattered flowers painted in famille rose enamels.
Qianlong period, 1736-95.
Fitted with a wicker bound metal replacement handle.

Condition : The jug is in good condition (apart from the handle) there is a large chip to the edge of the lid, traces of original gilding but mostly worn away.
