19th century Chinese export, ‘soft paste’ porcelain small bowl, hand painted in underglaze blue with the ‘Elephant’ pattern, directly copied from a Staffordshire blue printed design, used by Rogers and other Staffordshire potters.

Condition: Typical crazing & fine glaze cracks associated with soft paste wares, slight fritting on rim. No restoration.
