A spectacular 19th century Spode porcelain circular pot-pourie basket with pierced cover, with over handle formed form simulated entwined twigs, terminating in elaborate bows dedecorated with gilding, standing on three pairs of white & gilt ‘paw’ feet. The body & cover decorated with finely painted flower sprays against a rich green gound with gilding.
Very scarce mark ‘Spode’ written in gold to underside of base.

Width, overall: 9¾” 24.8cm
Condition : Excellent, no damage or restoration, just very minor surface wear in a few places.
