18th century Staffordshire saltglazed stoneware teapot with ‘crabstock’ moulded handle and spout, boldly painted with european flowers in polychrome enamels.
Replacement ‘Tinker’ tin lid with brass knop.
Date: circa 1760
Length overall: 8″ (20cm)
Condition : Spout & handle re-attached with associated damage to the internal strainer, some restoration to tip of spout. A couple of minor cracks in the body
